What It Is
The final polish. Proofreading catches those last pesky typos, punctuation errors, and minor formatting issues that may have slipped through earlier rounds of editing. No rewriting or reworking, just making sure everything looks spotlessly professional.

What You Get
Spelling, grammar, and punctuation corrections.
Consistency checks (names, capitalisation, etc.)
Light formatting if needed.

Pricing
Up to 30,000 – £250
30,001–60,000 – £300
60,001–90,000 – £400
Over 90,000: +£8 per 1,000 words

Turnaround
3 weeks, depending on word count.

How It Works
Once your slot is confirmed and the contract is signed, you’ll send your manuscript, in Word format, by the agreed start date. I’ll then get to work.

When the edit is complete, you’ll receive two versions of your manuscript:
One with all changes accepted, so you can focus on my comments and suggestions without the distraction of markup.
One with all changes tracked, so you can go through every edit one by one, with full transparency.

You can then work in whatever style suits you best – whether you want to dive straight into revisions or review each change in detail.
